Always remember, the issues are theirs.
The bitterness, the jealousy, the lies, are all theirs.
The insecurities are theirs.
Not yours.
If they project their own shortcomings onto you, sympathize and understand. Not because it’s not their fault, but because it’s not yours.
And above all, things could really be a lot worse- you could be one of those “people”.
You don’t need anyone else’s appraisal (or lack thereof) for your own sense of well being.
