God created some of us with this unquenchable thirst and curiosity for knowledge and understanding. God also created some of us who are blessed with ignorance.
Between the two, who do you think is happier?
In my experience, it has always been the latter lot. The blissfully ignorant.
Unaware, unaffected.
And then are are all of us, always chasing the cyclical abyss of the ‘whys’ and the ‘why nots‘. Always wondering, why people said what they said, did what they did, felt what they felt; always wondering why we got caught in the misfire.
Sometimes, we need to learn to not ask ‘why’ or ‘how’, but learn to accept things and people the way they are. If acceptance is the end-goal, then logical reasoning and understanding human emotions have become the greatest hurdles. Trust me, coming from a psychologist, this is the hardest truth I have come to accept.
Acceptance comes without understanding. Acceptance comes without questions.
Acceptance comes only with faith.
Lots of love,
P.
