As clichéd as it may sound, life is all but a long list of things that come to an end.
Moments.
Relationships.
People.
Journeys.
Everything that is, in this moment, will end someday. And an inevitable part of living the human existence, is the fact that at some point in our lives, we cannot escape endings. At some point, everything comes to its end.
Real growth is accepting that this end is okay. Sometimes, people, relationships, journeys and moments, they all run their short, albeit full course, in our lives and we must accept that it’s time for them to leave us. When that time arrives, we must bid our farewells and let them go.
We must let them go.
You can’t hold onto things and people who don’t want to stay or who can’t stay any longer, and for the sake of our own sanctity, we must let them go.
Let. Them. Go.
It’s going to be okay.
It is okay.
Lots of love,
P.
