To everyone out there, while you are trying to live your long, complex, busy lives, don’t forget to love.
Love your family.
Love your partner.
Love your children.
Love your friends.
Love your pets.
Love your work.
Love your home.
But above all,
Love this life that you’ve been blessed with.
Love the people around you fiercely, selflessly and unconditionally.
People will tell you, over and again, that you love too much. They will tell you that you love too selflessly. They will tell you that people don’t deserve so much love.
But they do. Everyone deserves to be loved, and if you can offer your love to someone, do it without regret. Because love is one of those amazing things that you don’t ever run out of. Love is one of those blessings that comes around as often as you give it. Spread your love fearlessly.
Call your parents and tell them that you love them, and do it everyday. Tell them before they are old and gone.
Hold your children in your arms, no matter how old they are, and tell them how much you love them. Tell them, that you love them unconditionally and that you will love them no matter what.
Look into your partner’s eyes, and tell them that you love them. Tell them because you mean it, and they deserve to feel that love. The kind of love that scares you, because it’s too much. Because if it doesn’t last, it’ll be too hard.
But even then, tell them. Because in the here and the now, that is all that matters.
And then, look in the mirror, and tell yourself, that you love yourself and all the blessings that have come your way.
Because, really, in the end, love is all that you have.
