Why am I blogging, and why should you read it?

Good morning readers!

I hope you are all up and about like me today, and that your morning has been as bright and sunny as an Indian summer afternoon (which is like 50 degrees!). After a very long time, I woke up at 7am today morning and made breakfast and lunch for my family and myself. Unbelievably, I actually cooked an entire meal today morning while sipping on my tea, and then even managed to pack some fruit and green tea! After a (very quick) hot shower, I was all dressed in a white striped blouse and trousers, and realized just how much I had grown up.

It was a rather strange feeling… to accept that life had changed me so much. I agree that a large part of it has made me more responsible and better at #adulting, but would I have welcomed this life a few years ago? Well, I certainly wouldn’t have while I was sleeping until noon everyday!

Before I list 100 reasons why adulting is so damn hard, I want to share something with you. Yesterday, after posting my first blog entry, I wanted to ask myself once again (because I overthink, obviously) why I was doing this, and why anyone would ever follow my blog. Well… the answer is because I’m certain there are more people who think, feel and experience life the way I do, and by writing about my journey, we can all connect with each other. I am writing with an intention of exploring the things that intrigue me, bother me, annoy me and inspire me, and I hope you will join me on my explorations.

In the interest of honesty, I cannot promise that my blogs will all be exciting, but I can assure you that they will be genuine and unpretentious. Sometimes, my writing might be a collection of simple musings about life, and at other times, I might be sharing my favorite recipes with you.

I hope you will embark upon this adventure of exploring food, books, movies, travel and life with me, and I will do my best to keep you intrigued.

Lots of love,

P.

Blogging is fun. I am still getting used to WordPress. Some people also like Wix.com or Weebly.com

What intrigues you? What annoys you (reading about Pet Peeves is kinda fun). What inspires you? Have fun!
